it will go into the spam folder and never be read but you will feel better.
These are machines, imported from the future, they do not come free, neither do Model S’s, private schools and oceanic cruises. Nothing good is cheap. When you say the word “expensive", think effective. We hope to offer all our clients an economic service. By engaging us to do work, you will in fact, without guarantee, become wealthier.
Grandma, we cannot water the geraniums using our drones, they are meant to be doing large scale high value cropping, if this job isn’t that, then there is a minimum charge. Every job involves planning and mapping and travel and is at the cost of another job.
Because it costs money to Spray a part HA, also see the first question
We plan each week for the work to take Monday to Thursday, if we are working on a Friday, we have failed for whatever reason to complete the plan. We are planning for this.
We have families, friends and other things to do. We may, at times, during peak periods, see the answer to question one.
CASA limits a swarm to 2 drone per operator at this stage. When we can have more, we will. 3 drones per trailer is a very busy airport. When the drones become a little smarter we will run with more. Watch this space....
We all have Remote Pilot Licenses and are CASA certified for 100kg drones.
We have First Aid, RFS, AFQ3 Chem handling, and Wool Classing Certificates.
Yep, its expensive. This is the link to the certificates if you want to have a look.
If a drone crashes they can be repaired. Most parts are modular and repairs are plug and play. Still expensive
That’s fine, you will still receive a bill for any work completed so far, or the minimum charge whichever is greater.
This may or MAY NOT be possible, we schedule an entire week, a week in advance, we may not be able to add any HA at short notice. Sometimes we have free schedules, and we can.
We will only reschedule current jobs if you are willing to pay double the standard rate. Your job will go to the head of the queue, All people that are requesting our services are usually in the same situation. We will endeavor to do what we can, but we have a set output.
We work with a team of consultant agronomists, we can at your, expense have one bought in to help with decision making. We are unlikely to take your job, if the prior preparation is not completed.
We need to know HA, destination, crop, situation, timings and various contact details before we can program a job into the schedule. If you can’t provide this information, we can’t provide spraying. We will endeavor to call anyone who fills in the website booking form.
We are busy doing work, which is flying to a pair of futuristic alien space craft, sequentially, back to a one-man F1 pit crew, every 6 mins for 10 hours a day, while avoiding chemical spills, rotor blades and powerlines. We at times have some demo days. Please check the website for a demo in your area. We will answer any question you have on those days.
This is a start up company and cashflow is tight. If you haven’t reconciled your account with us, we will be unable to do additional jobs. Please pay your bills on time and in full.
Yes, we can, but that would be $60,000 dollars’ worth of work, and would take 10 days. At the moment, the maximum job size is $6,000 per customer. This is to avoid disappointment. If you are happy to reconcile your balance as we go then we can do the job. Long term and existing current clients do not have this restriction.
You are too far away, sell your farm and buy a farm closer to Forbes.
We are using the best available technology to minimize drift, we have trained operators and some hours of experience. If you are really concerned, please drive in and see us. We can check crop stage and chemical susceptibility. We understand the risks with new technologies and want the best outcome for all stakeholders. All clients are responsible for evaluating potential hazards before we arrive. We are very unlikely to spray esters anywhere near a cotton crop; their lawyers have very shiny shoes.
Our operators will make the calculation before commencing. If you are short on chemical we can either spray less HA at the recommend rate or we can go and get chemical. We do not “water down” rates as prescribed by an agronomist, that is not within our skill set.
If the appropriate chemicals aren’t on site when we arrive or the chemical supplied doesn’t match the recommendation supplied by your or our agronomist, then the spraying won’t commence. There is a standard wait fee of $200 per hour or part there of, that commences as soon as the operators are ready to fly.
We can for a 5% (over and above the cost of the chemicals) fee source and supply chemicals for your business, you will be responsible for any opened but unused part drums, totes or enviros over the needed amount for the job. If your chemical handling facilities do not meet the minimum standards our operators will NOT discharge the unused portion of chemicals into your care and you will charged for the full amount.
That is fine, we understand in farming that things change. IF this occurs multiple times, more than twice, your jobs will cease being scheduled.
I have a scheduled spray job and want to cancel it less the 48Hrs Out?
We are usually unable to fill holes in our schedule with this late notice. Your business will be a sent a “reorganization fee” of $200 to cover part of the wages of the operators who will now most likely be sitting down.
We schedule a week of work, a week in advance, if we have been unable to complete your job in the time allocated or before the next weather event etc, then rest assured your job has been placed in a queue and will be completed in the next available window. We are human and at the behest of nature and machinery, we will try our best, if our services are not good enough, please engage other contractors.
